Josh Silverman, Chair of the M.Des Interaction Design program, came to me about redesigning the header image for the M.Des page on CCA's website. The illustration is based on the course subjects and the fact that design is a getting-your-hands-dirty process.
Designed a pair of glasses that can send audio feedback as beeps, to help the visually impaired navigate tight areas. Made from a tiny Adafruit Feather 32u4, a couple of piezo speakers, a proximity sensor, and a portable battery pack.
Designed movie posters - one based on the legendary work of Saul Bass, the other for a time-travel matrix-themed fiction piece I wrote.
Ashley Bernard, Tina Li, Luyuan Li and I wanted to design a space that invokes a sense of wonder and playfulness out in the open - Melody Wall is a discreet looking wall that emits several melodies triggered by shadows. People will need to use their body shadows to mix and match the melodies. It was made using Arduino boards, Bluetooth speakers, and light-sensitive sensors.
My best pieces from doing the 26 days of type challenge. Made on Procreate and iPad Pro - (S)F, (R)ide, (L)ookout, (B)asketball
Artwork inspired from lyrics, quotes, and whatnot.
I've been sketching and dreaming of skateboards since I was eight years old. I'm finally getting around to practice that skill myself. The art reminds me to keep trying.
(Yes, people do use Outlook too.)
